We cruised on Anthem of the seas in November 2022.when we were allowed to go to our rooms we check for bed bugs and found some shells on the couch cushion so ee decided to just ask to switch rooms or leave the ship if they didn't have any available. They told us that they did not have another junior suite for us to move to so we asked about leaving the ship which surprised them but they said to wait instead so we waited another hour and the shop disembarked. So now we are stuck and getting frustrated. They came back and told us that they didn't find anything and at this point called our picture and what we showed the room attendant fake/from another sailing is how they put it. This didn't really make sense because we just took the picture and showed the room attendant where the shells were and he saw them in person. We did not want to stay in that room so they found us the same room to move into with a impeded view of a live boat which again we were fine with all we wanted was to not stay in the bed bug room. Which was was a room we picked ourselves not an assigned room it's where we wanted to be. So we got moved and were happy after being called liars and treated badly by the crew we went on to enjoy the cruise. Two days before disembarking we were told they found a 200 plus dollar unpaid amount on our account. We had paid in full long before we left and couldn't understand where this charge came from. They told us sorry you can't leave unless you pay. So with no choice we paid the extra money to leave. So we were understandably angry at this point after having dealt with the bed bug issue and then being charged hundreds of dollars extra we did not owe. So when we got home we tried to find out what happened to our money for over a week and we filled with the BBB. At this point we were furious about the situation so added in the bed bug issue with the missing money. We were told that their findings were that we did not have beef bugs but that it we did not receive our money back in three days to update our filing. Royal found out they overcharged us and refunded the few hundred dollars they took from us. Case closed.

    Or so we thought. We decided to give them another chance and had a cruise set up a few months later in January 2023 for 8/8/2024. We received a call 7/24 from Nikki Ferguson executive customer service telling us that we were banned after their security team said we provided a fake picture in 2022. We were also told we could not speak to anyone or even dispute the ban until a year. So we received a permanent ban that may be disputable in a year with no guarantees. I don't know what to do from here. I received nothing but what I paid for from royal I got no compensation in any form from them and am again being called a liar two years later and banned from cruising with them. Please any advice is welcome.

    Sorry for the off subject comments,we get a bit bored.

    But my suggestion is to email a humble apology to Royal Caribbean and hope for the best.

    I had a chain of episodes on a cruise in November. A water pipe kept breaking and flooding my cabin plus there was a strong sewage smell.

    They didn’t have another cabin and the staff were fantastic. They wiped my bill ,free drinks and 100% refund in writing.

    I approached R.C once at home for the refund on many occasions but nothing ,just a cold shoulder.

    They said the letter wasn’t real and if I pushed it there could be repercussions.

    I finally got on to a very determined lady in Miami and I offered to take the letter into their office in Sydney for authentication.

    She said ,she would offer 20% refund.take it or leave it or things might escalate.

    I just cut my losses and took the 20%.
