I know this is only four bucks, but for any grillers out there this is more of an "instant" read thermometer as it takes up to 4 seconds. That is a lot of time to get your knuckle-hair singed.
The thermapen is obviously significantly more expensive, but has 1 sec read times, calibrated at the factory and guaranteed accurate readings. If you will be using often I highly recommend that as a daily driver.

Yeah labeling these instant read should be a crime lol. Instant read if you don't mind inaccuracy by 40 degrees
